See Lamborghini Murcielago, Aventador In Low-Speed Bull Collision

The SV version is not just for V12 Lambos.

Remember last month’s collision of two yellow Lamborghini Aventadors in Singapore? It happened again. This time the Murcielago was involved in the accident. We asked rhetorically “What were the odds?” about the previous crash. One has to wonder how likely it was for two Lamborghinis, to collide with each other. This is especially true when we consider the Superveloce versions both naturally aspirated V12 engines.

The YouTube video was posted by Varryx. There is virtually no information. The footage below appears to have been taken at an all- Lamborghinitrack event. It may have been organized by SquadraCorse at Nurburgring, judging from the man’s shirt, and the Nordschleife flag layout. Even though there is a Huracan “safety vehicle” leading the way, we are still baffled by the actions of the two SVs.

The supercars of Sant’Agata Bolognese were barely moving and ended up trading paint. Although the damage seems minor, it’s likely that the repair bill will be high as we are dealing with two Lamborghinis of incredible value. It appears that the Murcielago SV driver was just doing his business when he had an unexpected tete-a tete with the Aventador SV.

It is possible that the driver of the older car didn’t pay attention to the road ahead, and didn’t notice that his prized possession was slowly approaching the car’s left side. A few bruises were left on the Aventador SV’s front fender, and one of its wheels from the collision at low speeds. The orange side skirts of Murcielago SV need some TLC.

This is one of the most rare examples of first-world problems that many of us can only imagine. We are certain that the cars will be in good shape soon and that the Lambo owners will have a great time laughing about this incident in years to come.
