Are you satisfied with what you see?

The new BMW 2 Series was revealed last week. It gives us an official look at this compact coupe. There were many speculations about the hot counterpart, which included a full, but unofficial rendering. However, it seems that this rendering may not be true at all. If we believe the latest leak from China, that is. BMW Blog shared three images by Instagram user Sugardesign_1 of the alleged G87 front bumper, which is believed to have arrived in China.

As usual, you should be skeptical about BMW’s claims regarding the leaked images. BMW Blog shared some insights that give credibility to the Instagram user. According to the website the source was confirmed to be reliable, with similar leaks from China including an early view of the M3/M4 front bumper design. These leaked images match what the website has already confirmed about the M2’s design. It features a unique kidney design and large air openings similar to BMW race cars. This is not a definitive confirmation, but it’s possible that it could be. We know so far that the next-generation G87 M2 will arrive with 450 horsepower (336 Kilowatts) as well as over 400 pound-feet (542 Newton-meters). The transmission options are limited to manual or automatic gearboxes. It will likely be rear-wheel driven. The 2023 BMW M2 will be revealed next year. Production is scheduled for December 2022. If these images have been leaked, we’ll be able to provide more information.
