Brabus has released a massive upgrade program for the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG available for €347,719 (including car).
Tomorrow’s Geneva premiere will be accompanied by the S63 AMG Coupe-based Brabus 860 6.0 Biturbo Coupe. This heavily modified S65 AMG Sedan is powered by a V12, 6.3-liter twin-turbo engine that produces 900 HP (662kW) and 1,500Nm (1,106lb-ft). To preserve reliability, the torque will be electronically limited to 1,200 Nm (884lb-ft). Brabus has updated the seven-speed automatic gearbox to channel all that power to the rear wheels.
The S65 AMG, which is heavily tuned, will reach speeds of 62 mph (100 km/h), in a mere 3.7 seconds. This makes it 0.6s faster than the super sedan with 630 HP and 1,000 Nm. The S65 AMG will reach a top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h), while the S65 AMG can only go 155 mph (250km/h).
The high-performance sedan also received a body kit featuring clear coated carbon fiber bits. You can also get 21- and 22 inch Brabus Monoblock alloys, as well as a custom air suspension that lowers the S65 AMG by about 15mm. You can customize the interior cabin with the tuner’s iBusiness multimedia system and aluminum pedals. There are also stainless steel scuff plates, various upholstery options, and a 400 km/h speedometer.
It doesn’t seem like much matters on such a vehicle, but the Brabus Rocket 900 uses 17.1 liters / 100km (13.7 mpg US), 8.6 liters (27.3 mpg on the highway) and 11.9 liters (19.7 mpg in the combined cycle) with CO2 emissions of 279 g/km.
