Bill Goldberg, a wrestler, will be overseeing the competition among the top 10 finalists.

Dodge had announced in November that it would create a position called Chief Donut Maker. Although it sounds too good to be true this is part of Dodge’s new Never Lift campaign, which focuses on performance cars. We’ve seen Dodge’s Direct Connection brand come back to life, and now the company is looking for its Chief Donut Maker. The position is open for applications starting today and continuing through February 28. Enter here.

Dodge invites people to submit a two-minute video that shows their passion for cars and brand. Dodge has hired Bill Goldberg, a champion wrestler, to manage the competition. The top 10 finalists will be chosen. The contestants will then race a Dodge “horsepower weight” until only two remain. The series will air as a reality TV program, with Dodge unveiling its new Chief Donut Maker in the last episode.”We are looking for someone like them [the Dodge Brothers] to be our Chief Donut Maker. Someone who will embody their crazy Can-Do America Muscle spirit, and carry the torch to the single most engaged audience the automotive industry has,” stated Tim Kuniskis, Dodge CEO.

The winner will be paid a handsome, fat $150,000 salary, while still working a day, and receive a Dodge-branded outfit. The winner will also be able to take part in “epic automobile events”, which should include driving some of Dodge’s most powerful performance cars. It’s not as though Dodge needs to sell its performance cars. The Challenger outsold both Mustang and Camaro last year in terms of sales, and is the oldest entry in the trio. Dodge said that we can expect more information about its Chief Donut Maker search over the next few weeks.
