Evidently, something was going on at the Ferrari dealership.
Only a few weeks away from the Ferrari F8 Tributo’s debut in the 2019 Geneva Motor Show but there has already been a public sighting of the supercar. The above video shows that it wasn’t hiding from the cameras. The F8 was packed with supercars and racers. Not the least was the freaking Ferrari Formula 1 car.
According to the video description the action occurred outside HR Owen Ferrari’s South Kensington location. South Kensington, a wealthy area of West London, is the location of this action. This could explain why supercars may be present to see Ferrari’s new mid-engined prizefighter. This doesn’t explain why there was an F1 car parallel parked outside the dealership. But such is life when selling Ferraris in a luxurious London showroom.
The F8 Tributo doesn’t look exactly new. The 488’s bones and heart are still there beneath the skin. The rear clip is particularly interesting for fans of older Ferraris. It gains some of Pista’s aero cues, including the redesigned front fascia. The quad taillights are a first for the F430. The wraparound bodywork that they’re enclosed harkens back to the Ferrari 308. The louvered engine cover, which isn’t exactly the same as the one on the F40, is a close enough match to make us all happy when we see it.
Ferrari claims the F8 can reach 100 km/h (26.2 mph) in just 2.9 seconds, and reaches 340km/h (211 mph) straight-out. Also, make sure to take a close look at the F8 as it becomes more public.
