We aren’t sold. We’re not sold.

The Pontiac Firero is the car that really sold hotcakes in the 1980s. It was a two-seater, mid-engined sports car that sold almost 400,000 units between 1983 and 1988.

However, the Fiero was not without its faults. The Fiero had reliability problems and its performance was not up to par. Imagine being able to sprint up to 60 miles an hour (97 km per hour) in just 11.3 seconds.

However, this didn’t stop American car buyers from buying the car. In its five-year production run, Pontiac sold many Fiero units. It was, after all, the first mass-produced two-seater American sports car with a mid-engined American engine and was for a while the only one of its kind.

What if GM wanted to modernize the Fiero? Marouane, also known on Youtube as the Sketch Monkey, came up with the idea and attempted to implement his magic onto the Fiero. What was the result? The result?

Although Bembli did an admirable job modernizing Fiero with his revised version, we feel it is lacking in certain areas. The addition of the BBS wheels to replace the old, sluggish ones is a nice touch. The rear wing that is body-integrated was our biggest problem. Because the engine bay must occasionally receive the sun, this won’t work. The exhaust pipes are not as clear, but we’re just guessing.
