At least one is a modified version of one Ferrari GT car.
The Ferrari F8 Tributo is not enough to get your engine revving. However, Ferrari Senior Vice President of Commercial and Market Enrico Galliera, speaking to Australia’s WhichCar, stated that the Prancing Horse will launch four additional vehicles in the coming year.
Galliera claims that one of the new models will be displayed at next week’s Geneva Motor Show. It’s unclear if he is referring to the F8 Tributo, or another Ferrari.
Galliera did not reveal the names of the models, but he gave hints as to what we can expect. Galliera explained to WhichCar that some models will replace existing products while others won’t. “You will already see products in the product range in 2019, and I can also say that we will nurture the GT segment and the sports segment.”
The F8 Tributo belongs to the sports segment. This means that there will be a variant of the brand’s grand tourers this year. Rumours claim that a 812 Superfast with an folding hardtop might soon be available. There might be more limited-run vehicles in the Icona series, such as the 812 Superfast-based MonzaSP1 and SP2.
Galliera confirmed that the future lineup will include “two mid-rear engine product products”. However, it is not clear if the new model will sit above or below F8 Tributo. Galliera says that the company is also working on a model that is “more for everyday driving” and that it is not the Purosangue crossover. He says that this more friendly Ferrari is only two- to three years away.
