The Chevrolet Montana was first launched in 2004. It is a small, two-door pickup truck that the automaker sells in Latin America and other emerging markets. The Opel Corsa was the first generation. It was basically a pickup version the Opel Combo. Chevy is now offering a unique pickup design for the Montana’s third generation. This will elevate the product to a new level.

The first teaser image for the new Chevy truck in South America has been released by the Brazilian division. The Nova Montana (the New Montana), is the name of the product. Chevy promises that it will offer a new architectural perspective and better efficiency and dynamics than its predecessors.

Chevrolet claims that the Nova Montana will be part of its global product portfolio. Although we don’t know the plans of Chevy for the small truck, it can be seen going on sale in the United States to compete with the recently launched Ford Maverick or Hyundai Santa Cruz. Don’t be too excited, as the company may be referring to other markets like South Africa and Mexico.

Carlos Zarlenga from GM South America comments that GM believes Brazil. “The Sao Caetano do Sul facility will be equipped with new robots and tools, as well as innovative manufacturing concepts. This will ensure that the plant achieves outstanding results in safety, quality and sustainability.

A small Chevy truck with four-cylinder engines and front-wheel drive is currently available in Brazil. It has two doors. This teaser image suggests that the Nova Montana may be slightly larger than its predecessor. However, nothing can be confirmed at this time.
