The G-Class has been a key model in Mercedes-Benz’ history. The manufacturer continues to pay tribute to this iconic model with customization options and special editions. It is loved by tuning companies as well as children . We thought it was a great idea to share this tuned G Class in Suzuki Jimny yellow, just because you love it too.
The German tuning company Delta4x4 has many visual and off-road enhancements for the rugged and boxy SUV. This example shows some of the upgrades available, such as a 30-mm body lift and extended wheel arches. There’s also an additional crash bar at the front, as well as distinctively-designed alloys on all four corners.
A quick look at Delta4x4’s website shows that the company offers 12 wheel packages as well as a variety of exterior upgrades. These are mostly focused on improving visibility during off-road adventures. The tuners assure us that this is only the beginning and ask us to “stay glued” as we are likely to see more improvements for the G-Class.
Delta4x4 offers tuning packages for G models, such as the Ford Ranger and Volkswagen Amarok, Renault Alaskan and Jeep Renegade. Even if your Tesla Model X is not yet available, you can still call them and request a set off-road tires or a raised suspension.
Some of the latest tuning projects that are based on G-Class include Brabus 789-hp G63, Jon Olsson’s highly tuned Mercedes-Benz G5004x42. The latter is based upon the previous generation.
