The hypercar will be built in the United Kingdom by Dendrobium.
Dendrobium D-1, an electric hypercar concept, was first presented at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. It featured a futuristic design with incredible performance. The automaker has announced plans to produce a production version of the D-1 in the United Kingdom. It claims the machine produces an incredible 1,800 horsepower (1.342 kilowatts), and 1,475 pound feet (2,000 Newton-meters) torque. Dendrobium will reveal more details about the range of the rapid charge time and timing later. The D-1 will be on display at Blenheim Palace’s Salon Prive from August 30 through September 1.

While the D-1 is still being developed, Dendrobium Automotive plans to make it a 3,858 pound (1,750 kg) vehicle. The body will be made entirely of carbon fiber and the tub is called a Protocellcarbon tub. It also has doors that swing open in an unusual design called Bio-Aerial Locomotion. This layout is inspired by the dendrobium orchid, which is native to Singapore.
Although Dendrobium does not offer performance benchmarks information, debut at Geneva indicates that Dendrobium can reach 60 miles an hour (96 km per hour) in 2.7 seconds. It also has the potential to hit more than 200 mph (322 Kph).

The design for the D-1 was created by Vanda Electrics, an Singapore-based firm. However, the machine did not transition to three dimensions until Williams Advanced Engineering made the car that was on display at Geneva Motor Show.
