Under the hood is a 2.0 Mazda-sourced motor.
Granada-based small-scale automaker that focuses on retro-looking vehicles and modern technology. Two months ago, Spanish company revealed its Grand Albaycin roadster, based on the Mazda MX-5. Now, there’s a new version.
Hurtan will launch the Grand Albaycin Bespoke, based on MX-5 Miata RF. This means that the soft-top mechanism has been replaced by an automated hardtop roof. It can be painted in a different shade than the rest of the vehicle for a two-tone scheme.
The sports car is identical to the January model, except for the hardtop. The 1.5-liter entry-level engine is missing from the model. This is however the main difference. Only the 2.0-liter engine will be available for the Miata RF-based roadster. It produces 184 horsepower (137kilowatts). The car comes with a six-speed manual and an automatic. It can reach a top speed at 136 mph (219 km/h).
The soft-top model can be ordered with a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated engine that produces 132 horsepower (98 kW), and it is mated exclusively with a six-speed manual. It can reach a top speed of 127 mph (204 km/h).
Hurtan is proud that the Bespoke model has European homologation, which means it can legally be sold in the European Union. Although prices for the Bespoke trim have not been announced, the Granada company will assemble thirty numbered examples.
The soft-top model starts at EUR59,000, which is roughly $70,000 at current rates, for the 1.5-liter model. The 2.0 model costs EUR82.300 ($98,000). Hurtan plans to sell the sports car not only in Spain but also in France, Norway and Italy.
