It features a biturbo V8 engine of 4.4-liters with 650 horsepower.
Noble has unveiled its new Speedster.
The prototype Speedster was shown the model at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It was also previewed at Autosport International in early last year. The styling changes have been limited, but designers have made the rear end more sleek and cooler to the car’s engine.
The Speedster’s removable targa roof can be installed or removed in 30 seconds. The Speedster doesn’t have enough space to store the roof so those who are at risk of being swept away by a torrential downpour will have to use a canvas roof.
A biturbo 4.4-liter V8 motor produces 650 horsepower. The engine is linked to a sequential auto transmission that promises to make it feel like you’re actually driving it. Although performance data has not been released, the car should be able to reach speeds of more than 200 mph.
Drivers who want to change the gears by themselves may need to wait. Pete Boutwood, Noble’s managing director, suggested that the car might eventually come with a manual transmission if enough demand exists.
After passing crash tests, the Speedster will be available for purchase at approximately $293,000 (PS220,000).
