It includes a Formula 1-inspired push rod/rocker IRS rear suspension, Infiniti G35 limited Slip rear differential, custom drive shaft and many other options.

The Polaris Slingshot three wheel motorcycle is unique. A new conversion option by Florida-based Bullet Speed and Design allows you to have a powerful Slingshot with four wheels.

Bullet Speed and Design claims that the conversion is very simple and uses a bolt-on quad system. It also requires no fabrication. The base conversion costs $9,999 USD, or approximately $13,100 CAD. An upgraded “R-Spec” kit will cost $12,499 USD ($16,000.500 CAD), and comes with free installation. According to the company, the whole process will take no more than two days once they have received your Slingshot. The schedule is also clear.

This kit includes a Formula 1-inspired push rod/rocker IRS rear suspension and an Infiniti G35 limited Slip rear differential (LSD), as well as a custom driveshaft. There are also multi-colour options available.

Canadians who wish to add an additional wheel to their Slingshot, unless they love long road trips, must have the conversion done at the Florida-based company. Snowbirds, get ready to take a road trip this winter.

Bullet Speed and Design claim that the quad setup doesn’t “turn heads… It Snaps Necks, although it doesn’t look any better than an Ariel Atom and a KTM X-Bow.

However, the addition of a fourth wheel to a motorcycle could mean that prospective owners don’t need a license to drive one. There is no official work about how law enforcement will handle this conversion.
