In 2014, Alfa Romeo The return of the famous Italian brand to the U.S. market was marked by the 4C sports car. The car was sold almost 1,700 units after five years in showrooms. 4C Coupe Is no longer available Alfa continues to sell the 4C Spider on this side of the big lake, however. Tuners all over the globe are continually presenting new projects that use the 4C Spider. The most impressive of these was the Mole Construction Artigianale 001 . A new candidate has been announced for the most custom 4C title, and it is from Turkey.
The Dutch-registered Ugur Design introduced the Nivola. This retro-styled version of the 4C was inspired by the 33 Stradale, which was revealed in 1967. Coachbuilder known for his wild vintage builds wanted to “convert” the stock donor car into “something exclusive and limited, but timeless”, while keeping the 4C’s rolling chassis intact.
Named after legendary Alfa driver Tazio nuvolari, also known as Nivola. He won a few Mille Miglia, Targa Florio victories and even won the 24 Hours of Le Mans for the Italian company.
Sahin was inspired to create a modern 33 Stradale interpretation after he visited the Monterey Pebble Beach Concours last year, where he saw that particular car. Sahin decided to honour its beauty and the Alfa Romeo history with a unique project that is now in production.
The Nivola is a modified 4C chassis with running gear. It also features a completely new exterior with new panels. The rear end was lengthened to make “sleek rearfenders” that reach all the way back to its edge.
These images are only renderings. However, Sahin said he would be happy arrange a limited production if there was a healthy demand. He explained that all body panels could be made from either aluminum or carbon fiber.
