The new Pilot comes with standard Honda Sensing.
Honda updated its two best-selling crossovers, the three-row pilot and the subcompact HR-V, just in time for the summer. Today, the company released images and details of the updated crossovers.
Two new trim levels are available for the HR-V: Touring and Sport. Both models get the updated Display Audio system with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto connectivity. However, the same engine remains. The 2019 HRV is powered by a 1.8-liter four cylinder that produces 141 horsepower (105kW) and is exclusively powered by a continuously variable transmission. We are sorry, manual-lovers.
The Pilot’s exterior styling has been updated to make it more aggressive. This includes a lower diffuser and a revised grille. There is also a new wheel option. The Pilot’s new exterior styling isn’t just cosmetic; there are many tech upgrades inside the cabin.
Honda Sensing, like the HR-V’s, is now standard across the range. Apple CarPlay , Android Auto integration via Display Audio, and Apple CarPlay are also available. 4G LTE WiFi is also available. Upgrades also include Honda’s CabinTalk system and rear entertainment system.
Although there is no word yet on the pricing, both SUVs will be available for purchase in a matter of weeks. On July 16, the 2019 Pilot will be available at U.S. dealers, while the HR-V will arrive the week after that.
