The Nissan Extrem concept was officially revealed at the Sao Paulo Motor Show. It has a unique design and a 2+2 interior.
The Extrem concept by Nissan was officially revealed at the Sao Paulo Motor Show.
The concept was designed to capture the “color, excitement and beauty of Brazil” and features a Solar Cortex exterior with prominent grille, wraparound windscreen, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The concept also features LED lighting units and an exhaust system with a central mount. The overall dimensions of the concept are 3850mm long by 1765mm wide by 1530mm high, and have a wheelbase of 2450mm.
Although interior photos were not made public, Nissan claims that the Nissan Extrem has a 2+2 seating arrangement as well as a dedicated luggage area. A removable cargo bin conceals valuable items from prying eyes in the Extrem.
A turbocharged, 1.6-liter petrol engine provides power. Although specifics were not available, it is likely to produce 188 bhp (170 kW) or 177 lbft (248 Nm) of power. According to the company, the model may be available with either front- or four-wheel drive.
Although Nissan has not yet confirmed plans to produce a model, it said that the styling of the concept “offers a glimpse into [the] Future.”
