The car Apollo GT is a concept car. This is not the hypercar called Apollo GT, which is a wildly designed car that is absolutely stunning. These are the coupes, convertibles, and sports cars from the 1960s, which were designed to counter European grand tourers.

We don’t blame you if you don’t have one, as the Apollo GT is a rare car. Northrup, who wrote the history of Apollo GT, stated that there were only 88 units. Around 55 of those numbers are still in existence today. One of them even visited Jay Leno’s Garage .

This particular Apollo GT is owned by Kurt Brakhage. It’s actually his father’s dream car that he finally bought in 2003, at 72 years of age. It had been stored for 25 years in a very poor condition. Brakhage lost his father in 2010 and the vehicle was left behind for many years. He finally decided to restore it in 2017.
