If you are willing to pay a lot, this is your chance to buy the 1970 Lancia Fulvia rallycar.
It is the car that the Italians call il clasico finale. This 1970 Lancia Fulvia is in perfect condition and comes with all the necessary equipment. It is available on eBay Motors at a $200,000 ‘Buy It Now’ price. Yes, it’s worth the six-figure price tag.
In 1963, the Lancia Fulvia was introduced. Production lasted 13 years and ended in 1976. This little Italian was not unlucky to have been able to make it through thirteen years. The Fulvia was a popular vehicle in Europe. It won the Italian Rally Championship each year from 1965 to 1973 (excluding 1970) and the International Rally Championship for Manufacturers the following year.
In just eight years, the Fulvia won nine rally championships and even one class victory at Daytona. It was then demolished by the faster Stratos. With limited success, the Fulvia continued racing until 1974. This is where the example comes in.
Fulvia, a fully restored and race-proven vehicle that is up for sale, was part of the Lancia rally squad from 1973-1974. It is an iconic piece of Italian racing history, even though it was not able to win on the rally stage — the only victory coming at the 1973 European Rally Championship.
This car was one of only 20 produced. It has a rebuilt 1.6-liter four cylinder engine, suspension components and drivetrain. The original matching numbers, original speedometer, and pressure gauges are all still in place.
It has a striking red-and-white Lancia Marlboro livery, complete with proper fog lights and bronze wheels. It is finished in black leather and has corduroy inserts in its seats.
It’s an affordable price for this iconic piece of Italian racing history, at $200,000
