Only 1,000 units are produced.
Lexus wants to give its NX posh crossover more style by giving it the special edition treatment. The NX 300 F Sport’s Black Line implies that the limited-run model will be available in a dark color, but it can also be ordered in Obsidian or Atomic Silver and an exclusive Ultra White. Toyota’s luxury division will add lower body graphics and the cool split spoke 19-inch forged aluminum wheels.
The new Lexus NX 300F Sport Black Line is available with front- or all-wheel drive. It’s generously equipped inside, where the sound system is the highlight. The exclusive version features a 14-speaker Mark Levinson setup that produces 835 watts. It is paired with the 10.3 inch infotainment system, which includes a touchpad.
Although this is not something that many people will want to know about, it is important to highlight it. The crossover features the Active Sound Control system (ASC), which is Lexus way to say the engine’s note has been artificially enhanced and sent through cabin speakers. The cabin is missing the image, but the Arctic White or Black body-hugging seat can be found only on this model. The headliner is black and you also get fancy cargo mats, floor mats and even a key glove.
The production will be limited to just 1,000 units. You can check it out in person at a Lexus dealer near your location in the United States this month. The FWD model starts at $48,575 while the AWD model starts at $49,975. The Lexus NX 300 F Sport Black Line will be on display at the 2019 Chicago Auto Show. It will also share the spotlight with its 2019 LC 500 Inspiration.
