Although the Porsche 911 is gone, it’s not forgotten. In 2013, the hybrid hypercar was introduced. It lasted justtwo years and made a name itself against other rivals such as the LaFerrari or the McLaren P1. It was reasonably affordable for a car with a million-dollar MSRP at $845,000 new. However, more used models are appearing online and they aren’t cheap.
This example, a 918 Spyder in pristine condition with the Weissach package, is for sale on motorGT.com through Porsche South Shore, New York. It’s asking $2.19million. We believe it is worth the high asking price. The handsome hypercar is finished in Onyx white with the legendary Martini livery. It has over $85,000 worth options. The asking price includes aerodynamic aids such as magnesium Spyder wheels and lighter brakes.
Its light use is even more impressive. It has a 45-mile (72 km) original mileage and a delivery mile. A 4.6-liter hybrid V8 paired with two electric motors produces an incredible 887 horsepower (661 Kilowatts) as well as 944 pound-feet (1.280 Newton-meters). The 918 can be paired with a single seven-speed dual clutch transmission and all-wheel drive to sprint to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 2.5 seconds. It can also reach a top speed exceeding 211 mph (340 kmh).
Nearly every inch of the cabin is covered in black leather. There are two choices: the carbon fiber floor mats, with silver piping, costing $1,725, or the painted key with leather pouch, $1,400. This trim includes lightweight bucket seats and a Burmester high end surround sound system.
