The new grille on all 2020 Acadia’s has a rectangular shape and LED headlights are standard across the entire range. Some trim levels have power-folding functionality and some mirrors have integrated turn signals.
Black chrome is used on the AT4 to give it a dark shine. The tough trim level comes with 17-inch wheels and all-terrain tires. An optional 20-inch design can be added. The features include a hands-free powerliftgate and a rearview mirror that displays the camera.
The AT4 is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 310 horsepower (231 Kilowatts) as well as 271 pound-feet (367 Newton meters) of torque. The AT4 can be driven through a 9-speed automatic or dual-clutch all wheel-drive system.
New buttons and triggers are included in the interior to control the gearbox. The center console has more storage. GMC also releases updated software to the infotainment system. You have the option of a head-up display or wireless charging at 15 watts.
The Acadia range also includes the SLT, Denali and 2.0-liter four-cylinders with twin-scroll turbochargers that produce 230 hp (172kW) and 258lb-ft (355 Nm) respectively. The powerplant can be activated to run on only one cylinder when it is cruising.
A 2.5-liter four-cylinder with naturally aspirated power is the other engine option. It produces 193 horsepower (143 kW) as well as 188 lbft (255 Nm).
The 2020 GMC Acadia will be in showrooms by the end of this autumn.
