Manhart’s 713-Horsepower BMW M5 Sounds as Angry as It Looks

It boasts almost 100 horsepower more than the M5 Competition.

This brutal MH5 700 is the perfect alternative if you find the BMW M5 Competition a little too soft. Manhart, the same tuneers who built the crazy 888-hp X6 M in the past, has created the M5 F90. It is ready to take on Brabus’s amazing creations based upon the Mercedes-AMG E63S.

Aftermarket specialists had to first get under the hood the latest M5 and start to fix its biturbo V8. The engine produces 617 horsepower and 553 pounds-feet (750 Newton meters) of torque when in its best state.

This should be enough for most buyers looking for a luxury sedan with high-powered engines from BMW. But, if you need more power, the MH5 has a staggering 713 hp (642 lb-ft) and 870 Nm. Manhart’s super sedan is sure to be a beast with an additional 96 horsepower and 89 lbft (120 nm) of power. Although performance numbers are not available, it is faster than the stock M5 Competition which takes 3.3 seconds to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) and 10.8 seconds for 124 mph (202 km/h).

This is not all. The German tuner also made exterior modifications to the M5, where it fitted a variety of carbon fiber parts to match its upgraded engine. The V8’s powerful sound and 21-inch alloy wheels in black add to the sedan’s sinister appearance, making it a perfect mafia car.
