This is how monster torque looks.
DragTimes has just attached a Tesla Model S P100D to the dyno with Ludicrous +. These are the shocking results! The Model S P100D was strapped down and spun up on the dyno. However, it started to lose power and throw some error codes. Modern vehicles have many sensors that don’t like when the wheels spin, but there is no forward motion.
After addressing these issues, a full-scale run was conducted and the results were amazing. With Ludicrous + mode enabled, the P100D produced 920.37 pound-feet and 588.79 HP.
DragTimes reports that the Tesla’s state of charge was 88% during the recording. This could have resulted in slightly lower output figures if the car had been fully charged. Wheel spin became a constant occurrence when torque reached its peak, regardless of how hard they tried. DragTimes believes that the actual torque figures will be higher. Say 950 pound-feet or so!
