Since 2008’s reboot, the Dodge Challenger is virtually unchanged. This is a very old car in the automotive world, but it’s not surprising that the big muscle car is still very popular with buyers. Dodge deserves credit for keeping the car fresh through numerous special editions. However, there has never been a Challenger that is averse to turning corners. This could change soon.
There are new rumors about the Challenger ACR. ACR is an acronym for American Club Racer. This moniker is familiar to Mopar enthusiasts, as it was used for decades on track-oriented versions of the Viper. It was also attached to the Neon’s front-wheel-drive Neon. This pocket rocket has a reputation for being a formidable machine when it comes down to controlling corners on roads across America.

The naturally-aspirated 392 Hemi would produce 485 horsepower and the other the Hellcat V8 of Challenger Redeye, which produces 797 horsepower. The 392 might be the best choice, as many racing series do not allow supercharged cars.
The new report doesn’t give a time frame, but rumors from last year suggested that the Challenger could arrive in 2020 for the 2021 model year. Although the new report does not give a timeline, rumors from last year suggested that it might arrive in 2020 for 2021 model years.
