BMW finally makes the M8 super coupe. It’s better late than never.
BMW was the first to explore the idea of an M8 In the early 1990s, the 8 Series Coupe was first produced. Although a functional prototype was made with the McLaren F1’s V12 motor, McLaren eventually stopped making it. A M8 Coupe is now available for purchase, almost three decades later. If your wallet is able to handle it It is getting closer to its world unveiling. We are excited to reveal the future of the high-performance coupe from Bavaria.
It’s not difficult to envision the M8 super coupe. We have seen spy photos of prototypes, as well as official images released by BMW. This is especially true when you consider that the M850i is already on the road, and the M8 will expand upon the M Performance version with a variety of upgrades that Bayerische Motoren Werke fans are familiar with.
BMW has announced that it will introduce the production-ready BMW M8 in 2019. The car will be equipped with a twin-turbo, 4.4-liter V8 engine. Although it is not clear how much power it will produce, we expect at least 600 horsepower. Already leaked, the M8 Competition will increase the power output and rumors suggest it could reach the 630-hp mark. Even if this is not true, it would be logical for the flagship model to at least match 617-hp punch of the HTML5 Competition.
We’re sure that you’re aware that BMW has other M8 models in the works. They also plan to make a convertible and a four-door M8 Gran coupe. This new M8 will replace the M6 GC and compete with the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe (Audi RS7 Sportback) and the concept.
