BMW X7 Facelift: New Spy Photos Show Its Split Headlights Designs

It’s okay to get used to it.

More evidence has been found that BMW may be updating the X7, which could result in a radical visual overhaul of the front fascia. The spy photos strongly indicate that the rumored split-headlights arrangement for the SUV will actually be implemented for 2023. Regardless of whether it is true or not, there are high chances that the X7 will introduce a new design for its headlights.

We shared renderings that showed what the final design might look like a few weeks back. Although the spy photos in the attached gallery don’t show prototypes that have less camouflage than the ones before, some of them give a close look at the front. We can also get a peek inside the interior, which is still heavily camouflaged.
The changes are less noticeable at the rear. Although the camouflage foil obscures all the details, it appears that the rear fascia will look almost exactly the same as the prefacelift model. While it is possible to make more visible changes during testing, this doesn’t seem likely.

Referring to the controversial split headlights design, BMW may match it with a similar front fascia for its flagship 7 Series and 7 Series. The brand’s other SUV models will likely follow a more traditional design.

These cabin photos suggest that rumors may be true about the interior. Although this is not the final design, a large dual-screen layout is visible that is very similar to the SUV and the i4.

The refreshed X7 is likely to be available in full within six months. The luxury SUV will go on sale in the second half of 2022 with the camouflage.
