It’s clear that electrification is the future of the automobile industry. Increasing screen real-estate is one of the most important technological advances in automobiles. Automakers have made great efforts to include as many screens in their new vehicles as possible. The MBUX Hyperscreen is found in the Mercedes-EQS flagship electric vehicle.

Future Alfa Romeo Models Will Have "As Few Screens as Possible"

According to Imparato, he had a specific positioning in mind for future Alfa Romeo cars. He desired them to be driver-centric with as few screens as possible in the car.

The new CEO stated that he doesn’t sell an iPhone with a car on it. He sells an Alfa Romeo.

The Italian marque is preparing for an electric future, as are many other automakers. Imparato said that future Alfa Romeo cars must convey emotions without the engine sound.

It remains to be determined how this last bit will be done, but we expect to see these improvements in the new Alfa Romeo cars. The sub-Stelvio SUV Tonale is confirmed to be arriving equipped with a plug in hybrid EV version. This is the first such vehicle for the automaker.
