The Alpine A110S is the latest model in the French performance brand’s range. The company has upgraded the A110S to a 1.8-liter turbocharged four cylinder engine that produces 288 horsepower (215 Kilowatts) & 236 pound-feet (322 Newton-meters), as opposed to 249 HP (185 kW) & 236 Lb-ft (322 Nm) in the lower-end models. The A110S, if you are located in Europe, is currently available at a starting cost of EUR66,500 (or $74,971 at current exchange rates). Deliveries begin in October. The new version will not be available in the United States, just as the Alpine line-up
The 1.8-liter, mid-mounted mill connects to a seven speed dual-clutch transmission. To maximize traction, a brake-based electronic differential distributes the output between the rear tires. The A110S can reach speeds of 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.4 seconds. It also has a maximum speed of 162 mph (260 km/h).
Alpine pays attention to the handling of the smaller model, in addition to increasing the output. The ride height is 0.1575 inches (4 m) lower than the other A110 variants. The springs are 50% stiffer and the anti-roll bars 100 percent more firm. The A110S is equipped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires, which have a special compound specifically for this vehicle. The standard equipment includes 12.6-inch (320 millimeter) Brembo brakes. These are also available for other Alpines.
The A110S is distinguished from all other variants of the vehicle by its carbon fiber exterior and the orange flag on the C pillar. The A110S also has orange brake calipers, and dark-finished wheels. Buyers have the option to choose from a carbon-fiber roof or Gris Tonnerre matte gray paint.
The interior features orange stitching and black Dinamica faux leather. Each seat weighs 28.88 pounds (13.0 kilograms). The orange and carbon fiber emblems are also available.
