Red Bull has denied that Dietrich Mateschitz could lose other members of its championship winning team.
Ferrari announced this week that Neil Martin, a 38 year-old Briton and Red Bull’s chief strategy, has moved to the Maranello-based team for 2011.
Mateschitz, the owner of Red Bull and the Milton Keynes-based Red Bull team insists that Martin’s departure is not a sign of a wider exodus of employees who were enticed by lucrative offers.
“No!” The Austrian billionaire firmly stated, “No!”
Mateschitz revealed that “We just extended the contracts for our 50 most important people.”
Bild suggests that Martin’s move might convince Sebastian Vettel, 2010 world champion, to consider moving to another team.
Mateschitz replied: “Sebastian is very aware of the team he can rely on for the future.”
