Announcement of 2008 Mercedes SLK Accessories

Mercedes factory accessories for 2008 SLK include chrome kits, roof racks, and iPod or Bluetooth connectivity.

Mercedes has just released the accessory line for its 2008 SLK. Mercedes has already made it easy for owners to customize the SLK, with the new model just arriving in the box. There are a variety of accessories that can be installed by dealers, including ski racks and upgraded infotainment system upgrades. The factory-installed parts of the SLK are timed well to address options-list oversights while keeping the SLK competitive.
Incenio wheels and chrome kits are available for bumper, grille trim and mirror styling. Korsunia is a 18-inch, five-spoke design with five dual spokes, while the Kikuchi has 17-inch wheels with five dual spokes. Both wheels are staggered from front to back.

Mercedes developed a line for the SLK of roof-top carriers to accommodate active lifestyles. The Alustyle carriers attach directly to the SLK’s Apillar and rear deck and can be equipped to carry skis, bikes, snowboards, or aerodynamic cargo boxes. The SLK can hold up to six pairs, four snowboards, or three bikes.
Mercedes offers a limited edition, three-piece windblocker set featuring a center section of polycarbonate. This set reduces drafts, wind noise, and wind noise at high speeds. It comes with a nylon storage bag and is limited to 1,171 units. Also available are illuminated stainless steel door sill panels.
A luxury car without Bluetooth or MP3 player connectivity is not a viable option. Mercedes offers a Bluetooth unit that connects wirelessly to compatible phones in order to upgrade the SLK’s infotainment system. The Bluetooth unit is integrated into the SLK’s instrument panel display and steering wheel controls. The Media Interface kit allows MP3 players to connect via USB or the auxiliary output. Additionally, an iPod-specific connector is available to connect your iPod to the car’s audio controls.
