A rumor posted on the company’s Instagram account claims that Bugatti will unveil a spiritual successor of the EB110 SS during Monterey Car Week. According to reports, the brand plans to make 10 vehicles at an exorbitant price of 8 millions euros ($8,921,600 at current exchange rate).

A rumor dating back to June 2019 suggested Bugatti was showing potential buyers a mysterious vehicle and would give it a public unveiling during Monterey Car Week. There were no details at the time about this special car.

Original EB 110 SS was a powerful version of the powerful EB 110, with 604 horsepower (450-kilowatts) and 551 hp (411 kW). The SS was lighter because of the addition of carbon-kevlar panels to replace the aluminum components.

Bugatti may be attempting to revive this idea if they really want it. The limited-run model would likely use the Chiron platform as its base. The company could increase the power output of the quad-turbo motor. The Chiron Sports makes extensive use carbon fiber. However, there is still potential for weight loss.
