Alpine celebrates the centenary year of Jean Redele’s birth. Jean Redele, a pilot and race car driver, was born May 17, 1922. He is also the founder of the French marque.
Alpine unveils a limited edition Alpine A110 GT J. Redele to mark the occasion. It is based on the Alpine A110GT, but has unique design elements that reflect Redele’s life.
Jean Redele loved the Montebello Grey color on the A110 GT J. Redele.
The limited-edition model is finished with a black high-gloss roof and a set 18-inch Grand Prix black wheels. It also comes with silver brake callipers. The cabin is finished in black leather and grey stitching. It also has top-spec features for Grand Touring.
Only 100 units of the A110 GT J. Redele are available. Each vehicle will be equipped with a number plate signed by Redele. For 83,000 euros, or approximately $89,000 depending on current exchange rates, interested buyers can place an order via the Alpine App for June 1.
The special edition model was unveiled at a celebration event featuring over 1,100 Alpines from all generations. It was organized by the IDEA collective (Initiative Dieppe Evenements Alpine).
Michelle Redele, the wife of Alpine founder, received the keys to the #1 A110 GT J.Redele unit. The Alpine A522, which is the automaker’s Formula 1 car, made an appearance at the celebrations. The A110 GT J.Redele also led the procession in front of the old Alpines and new Alpines, who were there to celebrate.
