The only problem? We are still here even though it’s not Saturday.

Yesterday we demonstrated how smart and transform a Toyota Sienna van to a functional motorhome. We are proud to show you how to transform an older vehicle into a functional motorhome using a Volkswagen Bus, which was built in 1967.

Zenbox Design has restored and modified the split-window Bus. Zenbox Design is a Portland-based design company that specializes in small space and custom home design. It aims to strike a balance between traditional design principles and modern industrial aesthetics. The firm’s work is for people who appreciate craftsmanship and simple simplicity.

This description explains exactly what we can expect from this small camper. It’s a cozy motorhome that is inspired by the Westfalia campers. For entertaining, the team added storage and a sectional sofa. A happy doggo.

The bus’ Zenbox description states that the VW Bus was in a poor state before Zenbox gutted it, fixed some rust, and made it suitable for extended trips. We wanted to create a camper that could outperform the original Westfalia campers. It had more storage and even a sectional sofa for entertaining. We have been able to test the camper for 2 years on the Pan-American highway and can confirm its comfort level and livability.

VW Bus campers look amazing!

The cabin’s interior is custom-designed and can comfortably accommodate two people. Although we don’t know much about the condition of the camper or what is under it, everything appears to be in stock condition and in good shape. Zenbox has not yet indicated whether they are willing to sell this vehicle. You can still get inspiration from the gallery to design your camper.
