Ziegler Adventure, a German company, has just unveiled the Ziegler Group’s ultimate recreational vehicle. Mercedes-Benz officially certified it. The name of the Moghome comes from Daimler’s Unimog all-wheel drive truck.
We must be clear, any Unimog-based motorhome can take you wherever you want to spend the night. The vehicle has a ground clearance of 20 inches (50 cm), and can climb hills and dive to deep water depths up to 3.9 feet (1.2 metres). It is ideal for expedition and long-distance travel. It is also a good base for a motorhome.

Ziegler added a comfortable cabin for its off-road capabilities. The cabin can accommodate up to two people, with a large drop-down bed. There is a shower, a kitchenette with microwave oven and Miele oven, as well as two induction plates. You will also find a Webasto Diesel heater and aluminum storage boxes. All this equipment is standard. Customers have the option to order an air conditioner, flat-screen TV and radio, as well as a bike carrier.
Cool campers:
Unimogs are able to be used anywhere in the world. The Unimogs are equipped with a 320 Ah lithium ion battery pack and a solar-charging system that produces 240 watts. The shower cabin is supplied with a Webasto boiler and a Biolit 97 water filter by a 230-liter tank.
Unimog’s 250-horsepower, 186-kilowatt, 5.1-liter diesel engine produces power at a peak torque of 664 pound feet (904 Newton-meters). You can connect it to an all-wheel drive system with a low-range gear and front, rear or center differential locks.
Ziegler is currently selling the Moghome for EUR369,000 or roughly $420,000 at current rates. This price does not include any optional equipment.
