Rainbow Sheikh Built A Giant Ten-Wheeled Truck

The Dhabiyan is a truck that uses parts from several production cars for its design.

We love the Forza Motors games for their ability to create anything you can imagine. A rear-wheel-drive Subaru WRX LS1-swapped LS1? It’s possible. You can swap in a Peel P50 engine for a sportbike. Why not?

We can all live out our automotive fantasies on a television screen but one man has the power to make them come to life. Sheikh Hamad Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, United Arab Emirates, is a car enthusiast of the first degree. What is the big difference between him & us? There is a lot of oil money.

More wild and bizarre custom cars

The Sheikh ordered Mercedes-Benz to build an S-class for him in each color of the rainbow, including upholstery and wheels. He was named the Rainbow Sheikh because of this. A 64:1 Dodge Power Wagon (yes, that’s right) that he owns is also well-known. It has living quarters inside and includes a master bedroom in the Cab as well as a tailgate that opens up to a large back porch.

The Dhabiyan is his latest creation. You can watch the hype video for it on YouTube. It is a ten-wheeled beast, built on an Oshkosh Military Transport M1075. There are parts from several other production cars clearly visible in the construction. The video shows a cab constructed from a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited body and turn signals from a Ford Super Duty. Taillights and a rear bumper are made from, strangely, a Dodge Dart.

If we are lucky, the next Forza Horizon gaming event will be held in Abu Dhabi with the Rainbow Sheikh as the star.
