GFG Style Kangaroo Lifted Electric Supercar Packs 483 HP

Four-wheel drive, four wheel steering and three suspension modes.

Italdesign Giugiaro presented the Parcour, a supercar powered with the Lamborghini Gallardo engine but with the same ground clearance as a wagon or crossover. Although the coupe and roadster concepts received praise for their unique configurations, they never made it into production.

We bring this up because why not? Giorgetto Giugiaro, his son Fabrizio, are the founders GFGStyle. They have created something similar to their philosophy for this year’s Geneva Show. The Kangaroo, a futuristic, jacked-up electric vehicle with all-wheel drive/all-wheel steering, combines the performance and utility of a supercar.

The sleek body is entirely made of carbon fiber. Although the massive alloy wheels of 22 inches may not appear to be off-roading, the Kangaroo can withstand difficult terrain thanks to its ability to significantly raise its body.

Although the 90-kWh battery pack can provide enough juice to last for over 280 miles (450 km), it is not clear which fuel consumption testing procedure was used. A pair of electric motors producing 180 kW each provide power, which is equivalent to 483 horsepower (360kW) combined.

This was the GFG Style concept in Geneva last year.

The car is not just pretty. It has evolved into a working prototype, based on an electric platform that was developed in partnership with CH Auto. According to its creators, the “Hyper SUV”, which is described as a speed record of 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.8 seconds, can reach speeds of 155 mph (250 km/h) electronically controlled.

Apart from the running prototype, GFG Style will have on display at Geneva Motor Show a clay-model with the roofed and hood made of exposed carbon. The Kangaroo will also be getting rid of its tires and wheels to make way for tracks, as the creators believe that it will be fun to drive on snowy and icy roads.
