Italy’s Motor Valley Fest is back this weekend, July 1-4. It will bring back both the physical event and online activities.
Let the trumpets sound. The Motor Valley Fest (MVF), is back, not only as a digital event, but also as an actual one. The event, which will be held in Modena from July 1 through 4, marks a return to almost normality. It is marked by an invasion of motor vehicles.
MVF will include four days of activities spread between the web, city streets and racetracks in Modena and Varano. There will be conferences, parades and dynamic exhibitions as well as shows and talks about cars from the likes Ferrari and Lamborghini. Here’s the complete Motor Valley Fest program.

Motor Valley Fest actually starts one day earlier than usual: Two online conferences will be held on June 30.
The first event, “Future Trends in Motorsport: Technologies, Materials, Innovation” is set for 9:30 AM (Italian Time). It will include, among others, Andrea Pontremoli from Dallara, Giorgio Sanna, Lamborghini Motorsport’s former driver Emanuele Pirro and Roberto Vavassori, of Brembo.
At 2:30 pm, the second presentation will be entitled “Technology Transfer and Business: New Business Models for High-Tech Sectors.” Experts will present how motorsport can help promote the growth of other industrial sector.

Manlio di Stefano, Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will cut the inaugural ribbon. He will speak alongside Stefano Bonaccini (President of Emilia-Romagna Region); Carlo Ferro (President of the ICE Agency); Gian Carlo Murzzarelli, Mayor; Claudio Domenicali (President of Motor Valley Association, CEO of Ducati) and all the Motor Valley factory CEOs.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 1:00 p.m. in the Motor Valley Village at Cortile d’Onore di Palazzo Ducale. Rodolfo Sganga will be present as Commander of Modena Academy, Giuseppe Molinari as President of Modena Chamber of Commerce, Remo Taricani as UniCredit Head of Retail Italy, and Paolo Cavicchioli as President of Modena Foundation.
From Thursday, the in-person events begin with Modena’s streets and most of its most interesting places being animated by sports cars and themed exhibits. Read the dedicated article to find out more.

The morning will be dedicated to Maserati in Novi Sad Park. You can also see (and hear) the MC20 live. The afternoon will be spent with Trident cars. After that, shows are dedicated to Pagani then Alpine.
You can attend the Autodromo di Modena to see all kinds of cars, including Tesla.
You can also see the cars in Modena at 6:00 pm. The parade will then take them from the Autodrome towards Piazza Roma.
Varano will host laps of the track for sports cars from various brands. These will be followed closely by BMW models.
The presentations and panels will continue with talks on the car market, motorsport’s future challenges, the talent of tomorrow and startups that could transform the future transport. The future challenges, including electric, biofuels and hydrogen, will be discussed as well. However, we will not only discuss those issues: We will also discuss digitization and artificial Intelligence, how car design will evolve (together Chris Bangle and Klauss Busse and Horacio Pagani and Walter De Silva), and the phenomenon known as gamification.

Red will be the theme of Novi Sad Park’s morning, thanks to Ferrari Challenge. In the afternoon, a Ferrari Show will feature GT cars, FXX cars and Formula 1 cars. The day will end with an event for youngtimers.
The ETCR cars will be at Modena Autodrome in the morning, while the Abarth, Alfa Romeo and Alpine models will return to the stage in the afternoon.
Modena will host the show in the afternoon. At 3.00 p.m., the Lamborghini Club Italia will arrive at Piazza Roma. At 4.00 p.m., the “oldies’ of Old but Gold will be animating Piazzale Sant’Agostino. At 5.30 p.m., some of the most rare and beautiful Ferraris in the world will parade through Piazza Roma. The Old but Gold VIP Experience will arrive at Piazza Grande at 6.00 pm.
Varano will host a morning dedicated to Ducati racing cars. In the afternoon, cars signed by Asi as well as a group Dallara Stradale, will drive.
Sunday, July 4,
The Race of Made In Italy will take place at the Novi Sad Park with Lamborghini and Ducati two- and four-wheelers. In the afternoon, the Memorial Bettega rally cars will be joined by those belonging to the Circolo Di Biella and Terra dei Motori Club.
Electric cars will dominate the Autodromo di Modena with ETCR laps and Energica laps.
At 16.00, in Piazza Roma, Modena will see the Salvarola Competition. In Piazzale Sant’Agostino will be the meeting of Terra dei Motori cars. The Dallara Academy will invade Varano.
