M2 Racer will likely replace M240i Racing Cup.

According to a rumor first published by BMW blog, the BMW M2 CS could be used to create a track-honed racing version known as the Track Cup. Engineers in the M division might push the competition variant’s 3.0-liter twin turbo engine to around 445 horsepower (332 kW), rather than the expected 445-hp (332 kW) output of the road car.

The Track Cup racing M2 would have a more stripped-down interior, adjustable suspension, more aggressive aerodynamic elements, and revised brakes that can withstand prolonged use on a circuit, as opposed to the roadgoing M2.
