Imagine A Futuristic Crossover
Is the engine in the back?
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is one of the most extreme SUVs on the planet. It is powered by the 707-horsepower (527.5-kilowatts) 6.2-liter supercharged, V8 from the Dodge Challenger/ Dodge Charger Hellcat twins. This SUV defies the laws of physics. Although it looks a bit sloppy, it retains the Grand Cherokee’s large, chunky, SUV profile.
Drool-Worthy Renderings:
Dejan Hristov is a skilled designer and renderer with a cool page. Behance.net . Hristov used a number of other high-performance SUVs and crossovers as a reference to create a striking representation of what a future Jeep Trackhawk crossover might appear like. Although the final product has a certain concept feel, we like it.
Although it’s quite different from anything Jeep has seen, we still appreciate the familiar design elements that went into this creation. It is inspired by the Grand Cherokee’s narrow grille and the straight-ish beltline that is similar to the current model. It is bulky, with its flared rear fenders and high backside with the steeply arched roofline.
The Trackhawk coupe’s slotted roof and short front clip make us wonder where the supercharged engine is. Although the Hellcat V8’s pushrod design is compact, it would not be difficult to fit it up front. It could be possible to have the engine facing forward from the rear with the transmission pointed forward. Or, perhaps it is a high-performance hybrid that uses a small supercharged gasoline engine with electric thrust at its back.
It’s an interesting, futuristic look at one of the fastest SUVs on the market. We look forward to more from this artist.
