Jakub, YouTube channel TheStraightPipes, has purchased his dream truck: a first generation Ford Raptor. It is orange inside and outside, with a 6.2-liter V8 that produces 411 horsepower and 434 pounds of torque. We are happy for him.
We are a bit jealous too. His truck was the most affordable Ford Raptor available anywhere at the time he purchased it. Amazingly, Jakub was able to score the Ford truck he wanted for only $13,400. This is amazing!

You can see that there were a few things Jakub had with this Raptor at such a low price. This Raptor was not only the most affordable, but it also had the highest mileage. This Raptor has 218,000 miles. Worse, the truck belonged a smoker.
The truck was in terrible condition when Jakub bought it. It was in a terrible state inside and needed to be cleaned. The truck looks amazing after it was cleaned by a local auto detailing company.
We’d be elated if you showed us photos of the interior and told us that this truck only had 50,000 miles. Jakub, Yuri and others report that the interior doesn’t smell like cigarette smoke.
Jakub has been very pleased with the truck’s repairs so far, despite it being a low-mileage, bargain-basement performance vehicle. He had to fix the rear window switch, which cost him $40. We don’t know if it’s $40 USD, $40 CAD, but he did get by.
The tailgate’s rear step is still stuck, so he will have to do that later. Jakub is content to drive the truck of his dreams and enjoy it.
