Only two days remain before the auction closes.

Between 1961 and 1967, the first generation Ford Econoline was produced. It was undoubtedly the most unique of all the Blue Oval’s full size van. The first generation Ford Econoline was built on the Falcon’s then-new Falcon. It featured a mid-engine configuration and a straight-six engine behind the front axle. The first-gen Econoline is a great vintage bus that can also be converted into a camper van. This 1965 Ford Econoline Travel Wagon was transformed into a small motorhome by the Econoline Travel Wagon.

This camper has a total of 59,000 miles (94.951 kilometers) and 1,000 miles (1.609 km) added in the last year. It was recently repainted. The paint was renewed last year and the photos show that there are no rust spots.

The living space includes a Calthorpe Travel Top and a kitchenette. This was all installed by Travel Equipment Corporation in Elkhart, Indiana prior to the vehicle’s delivery. The original equipment also included a sink, icebox and a portable Insta-Lite stove that runs on liquid propane. It also includes a foldable table. According to the current owner, the rear cabin was reupholstered.

The engine is a 2.8-liter inline six engine that’s mated with a three-speed manual transmission, which can be shifted from the steering column. The machine is equipped with 15-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels and BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The original configuration was modified with low-back bucket front seats from a Dodge Caravan, and new gauges in its instrument cluster.

This Econoline camper comes with period literature and a clean British Columbia registration. Last year, the vehicle received a new clutch and was serviced with brakes. With two days remaining before the auction ends, the current bid is $10,000.
