Toyota will hold a lottery to determine who gets them.

The limited edition Matte Storm Gray version of the Toyota Supra is available to Japanese buyers. Toyota will announce the winners of the lottery during the Nurburgring 24 Hour Race that takes place June 22 and 23, and draw the lucky few who are able to get one.

Matte Storm Gray is only available for the RZ Supra trim, which is the top-of-the-line model in Japan and comes with the turbocharged six-cylinder engine. According to Shigeki Tomoyama , this is the first time Toyota has sold a vehicle with a matte finish. According to a machine translation, Tomoyama stated that “We are very sorry but it requires a complex painting process and the limited number of vehicles is so we will draw lots.”

The Latest News on the New Supra

These 24 Supras are the same as any other Supras, except for their exclusive color. The shade enhances the curves of the car, especially around the fenders, and is evident in the photos.

Toyota is very interested in trying matte-finish paint colors. Lexus also sold 24 units of the Matte Storm Gray Supra and recently displayed the one-off LC 500h Matte Prototype Concept, in the shade Space Orange. However, the company did not indicate that they planned to sell the luxury grand tourer with this vivid color.
