The base model starts at $31,550 before adding options.
Two of the most popular SUVs that have reached the United States this year are from South Korea. They are almost identical models. The Hyundai Palisade is the closely related model. It will now be available in the U.S. at a $31,550 MSRP for front-wheel-drive SE models. This makes it $140 less than the base model of Kia’s large SUV.
It’s also less expensive than some rivals in terms of starting prices for the rear-wheel drive. 2020 Ford Explorer ($36,675), and the all-wheel drive 2020 Subaru Ascent ($31.995). Front-wheel drive 2019 Honda Pilot At $31,450, it is $100 less
No matter what trim you choose, all Palisade models include a 3.8-liter V6 that produces 291 horsepower and 262 pounds-feet (355 Newton meters) of torque. This engine is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which sends the vehicle on the road through an eight-speed manual gearbox. The entry-level SEL model starts at $33,500 with front-wheel drive, while the Limited model comes in FWD for $44,700.
Hyundai will sell the 2020 Palisade AWD with the HTRAC system for all three trims: $33,250 SE and $35,200 SEL. Limited editions are also available at $46,400. All prices do not include $1,045 destination and handling fees. The eight-seat SUV was built in South Korea, shipped to the United States, and Hyundai claims that its flagship SUV, along with 16 cupholders, and seven USB ports, will soon be at a dealer near you.
Hyundai USA does not have the configurator available at the moment. However, to get an idea about how much you will need to spend on a loaded Palisade, the Kia Telluride can be purchased $50775.
