It’s not a Ferrari.
Remember James May’s review of the Tesla Model S in January? He wasn’t doing it because Drivetribe wanted a video review on the electric sedan. As you may recall, Captain Slow was impressed with the Model S’s performance and infotainment systems. He decided to order one. A blue ModelS has been added to May’s garage.
James May, unlike Jeremy Clarkson has a love for electric cars. One of his earlier everyday cars was a BMW i3, replacing his Fiat Panda. May is ready to upgrade. A purely electric car is the best choice. However, you can see in the video that the i3 and an Alpine A110 are still in May’s garage.
After unveiling his new Tesla, May gives us a quick tour and his opinion on the interior. He admits that the interior could have been a bit more extravagant, but he seems to enjoy what he described as a simple cabin. The infotainment system, he says, is “just magnificent” because of the large size of the screen in sat-nav mode.
May mentions that he has also purchased a new car, and that we will soon see it. He also explains why he chose blue for his Model S as well as most of his cars. He did hint at wrapping the electric sedan in yellow. We believe so.
