Are you looking for something delicious or sacrilegious
The Defender, according to many Land Rover enthusiasts, is the ultimate off-road vehicle. It is strong, durable, and designed to withstand harsh road conditions. Sir Paul McCartney had one and even wrote a song about them called “Helen Wheels.”
The Defender is a beloved vehicle and has a worldwide cult following. We can only imagine how they will feel about the Land Rover Defender built in Brisbane, Australia.
We are pleased to introduce the Hot wheels Land Rover Defender. Before you start to hurl stones or raise your pitchforks, please take a moment to read the story behind this build.
A father-son duo from Australia owns this very orange Defender. They purchased a 1985 Defender County for just $1,000. This is a great deal for an old-timer.
This is the key. The Defender was not rebuilt to restore it to its off-road glory. Instead, the owners decided to follow their passion and build Hot Wheels. They claim that they have been collecting Hot Wheels toys cars for over 15 years.
The owners rebuilt the car in its current condition two years after it was first purchased. It is now a low-riding SUV equipped with snorkels. The rebuild of the off-roader cost them approximately $30,000, which includes the new V8 engine under the hood and fluorescent paint.
We did mention that the Defender is not for everyone. Its off-roading abilities are what make the Defender so great. This is not true in this low-riding car. We applaud the father-son team’s efforts. Their car and their rules are also admirable.
