We didn’t realize that the Mustang Bullitt is comparable to a Japanese coupe in terms of power output. This is the Lexus LC500. In this Carwow video, they also show it in green. They’re heading to a drag racing.
Each coupe is powered by a naturally-aspirated, 5.0-liter V8. They both have the same engine output and send it to the rear wheels. There are major differences in their prices, weights, transmissions, and other features.
The LC500 is a luxury vehicle and costs more than the Mustang Bullitt. However, the pony car only comes with a six speed manual transmission, as opposed to the Japanese coupe’s 10-speed automatic.
Another factor is weight. The Mustang has a significant advantage because the LC500 weighs at least 100 kg (220 pounds) more.
