The body kit is not just for show, it also improves aero.
Although the modern-day BMW Isetta, as some prefer to call it, is unlikely to have a bright future, some enthusiasts enjoy customizing the small electric vehicle. AC Schnitzer, aftermarket specialists, is known for modifying the hybrid HTML8_. They also offer upgrades packages for the little brother. This i3s has a more aggressive body kit.

The front splitter has been redesigned in matte black. It also comes with three polyurethane adaptors, each one glossy black. The back, where the roof-mounted spoiler is made of PUR has a similar look. It also has a shiny black finish. AC Schnitzer says that the add-ons serve more than a showpiece. They also have a secondary purpose: to improve the car’s aerodynamic efficiency.
Rear skirt protection foil and the tuner logo are also noticeable. The ride height has been lowered 20 millimeters (0.8 in) thanks to a new suspension kit. AC Schnitzer also installed wheel spacers to push the alloys 12mm (0.5in) further out, to make the i3s sportier and to improve stability.
We don’t have images of the interior of the tuner’s hatchback, but we know that it has been outfitted with an assortment of aluminum accents as well as a black appearance for the iDrive controller.
The powertrain remains unchanged. The i3s has 181 horsepower and a torque of 199 pounds (270 Newton-meters), or 11 hp, 15 lb-ft (20 NM) more than the regular version. The i3s can reach 60 mph (96 km/h) in 6.8 seconds. This is four-tenths faster than the standard i3.
