Lumma Design, a German tuner, has announced that their CLR 600 GT based upon the 2012 BMW 650i Cabriolet is (F12), and will be making its debut at next month’s Geneva Motor Show. Lumma Design showed us the styling of the BMW 6-Series Cabriolet last year, but the BMW/Porsche specialist in Germany has already created a complete tuning package for 2011 F12.
The CLR 600 GT’s exterior features include an aerodynamic body kit that includes a front bumper lower spoiler, LED daytime driving lamps, side skirts, and rear diffuser. The suspension is lowered by 20mm, and GTB-Monoblock 9, 10.5 x 20,-inch wheels complete the look.
The 6er Cab’s 4.4-liter twin turbo V8 produces 490 HP (360kW) as opposed to the standard 408 HP (308 kW). The torque also increased from 600 Nm (443lb-ft), to 720Nm (531lb-ft). Lumma doesn’t give details about what they did to increase power but we can guess that upgrades included a reprogrammed control module, an air intake, and a flow-optimized sports exhaust system.
The interior of the cabriolet can be quite dramatic, as Lumma has used a hand-crafted upholstery made with leather and alcantara throughout. The interior features an ergonomically designed sports steering wheel, aluminum pedal set, and velour flooring mats.
