The second generation of BMW’s X1 SAV has been redesigned to be front-wheel driven. Although it may not look as attractive as the first, there is an MSport Package to spice things up. The optional kit allowed for a more sporty body, with slightly modified kidney grilles and beefier bumpers.

It features leather seats, a sportier steering wheel, dual zone automatic climate control, and bespoke side sills inside the cabin. You will also find Estoril Blue trim, stitching and cruise control (with brake function) as well as rear parking sensors.

The M Sport Package can be purchased for between EUR4,100 and EUR5,200 depending on the engine and trim. These goodies may not convince you. BMW recently stated that they are looking at the possibility of launching an X1 M, but it won’t happen sooner than 2017.
