A Homemade Subaru Forester Ute is a Hot Mess Of Fun

It is available for sale and comes with a matching trailer.

Because you never know what you might get, homemade creations can be quite wild. This Subaru Forester is a great example of that. It has been converted to a ute and is available for purchase on Facebook Marketplace.

The sandy-tan Subaru comes with several upgrades that give it off-road appeal, even though it may look awkward. This conversion made the Subaru’s back wider, transforming the cargo area into the truck’s bed. The truck bed is open to the air, and the passenger compartment has no glass or sheet metal. The trailer is attached to the ute. It is the back-half a Forester. The seller is asking $3,500 for it.

It was originally a 2001 Forester. The vehicle has 236,000 miles. However, the seller claims that it runs perfect and that there is a check engine light. The automatic gearbox is listed as functioning with heat, radio and air conditioning. Four new bearings were installed on the ute, along with other maintenance items such as replacing the timing belt, head gaskets, water pump, and head gaskets. There are also off-road upgrades to the ute.

The Subaru includes a Yakima roof basket, and a 42 inch light bar. The Subaru comes with POD Light fog lights and a 2.5-inch lift set. KYB struts are from a 2006 model. 1-inch wheel adapters are used with 15-inch offroad wheels wrapped in new BFGoodrich KM02 tires. For better sound, it has a muffler delete as well as Borla headers. This is a very unique creation that is not suitable for everyone. There are some issues with the Subaru, such as the check engine light. The Subaru Forest Ute is a beautiful car that will make anyone happy.
